AIIM #ECMjam No. 4 am 1.9.2011, 17:00 MEZ

Am 1. September, also mit einer Woche Verzögerung in der normalen 14tägigen Abfolge, findet der 4. ECMjam statt. Auf Twitter ab 11 am EST dem Hashtag #ECMjam folgen. Dieses Mal geht es um "ECM & Mobile".  Mobile Devices, Apps, Smartphones, Tablets, usw. verändern unsere Nutzungsmodelle für Information und  Kommunikation. Traditionelles ECM wirkt dagegen schon fast altbacken.

Bryant Duhon, Moderator des ECMjam hat wieder ein ganze Reihe von Fragen zusammengestellt, die am 1.9. diskutiert werden sollen:

1. What’s a mobile device for purposes of this conversation? Does a laptop count? What if it has a mouse? And, are all devices created equal beyond email access?
2. What is the key difference between Mobile Content Management & “normal” Content Management?
3. Where does Mobile Content Management fit in with an #ECM Strategy?
4. What business problems is Mobile Content Management primed to solve/What can you use a mobile device to do?
5. Beyond receipts, what can mobile capture do?
6. Is this a cloud-only phenomenon? Can legacy products extend their reach to mobile devices?
7. Do you have to have an App to be providing Mobile Content Management?

Eigentlich sollte es ja um den Einfluss von "Mobile" auf die Entwicklung von ECM gehen. Es sind ein wenig viele Fragen für eine Stunde und diese müssen auch erst noch 140-Zeichen-tauglich gemacht werden. Die endgültige Liste gibt es dann nächste Woche hier!
